H-Mart Food Court

Today I went to H-Mart supermarket in Lynnwood (I love the supermarket!!) It is very complete with Asian stuffs (especially their meat & vegetables sections!)

After shopping for several hours, we headed to the food court for dinner at 8.30pm.
We chose the korean place, Hometown and the japanese restaurant, Kobe for the tonkatsu. They also have Pho Vietnamese restaurant and mini belt-sushi place.

The food are great although it is not as cheap as the usual food court food. My Korean Soup (juk-gae-jang) was $7.80 and their bimbimbap is $8.63.

Here are some pictures:

Umi Sake House- Happy Hour

Yesterday, Wednesday, the 26th, me and couple of my friends decided to go to Umi Sake House for happy hour.
I went there couple times before and I really like the crispy prawns there (picture below- prawns wrapped with crispy noodles and sweet sour sauce) The nice thing about Umi happy hour is that their happy hour at the front porch lasted until 8pm! My friends were late yesterday so we couldn't make it before 6pm and we waited for a table to open up at the front porch and it did. We were seated at 7pm and we immediately ordered (since we were already hungry) and we finished eating by 8pm! the food was great!

Crispy Prawns

Bad Boy roll- Spicy Tuna Roll- Unagi Roll- and Green Tea Tempura Ice Cream

We really enjoyed the green tea tempura ice cream because of the texture of the tempura skin is different that the usually tempura ice cream, it has a little cake-sponge texture and I personally like the green tea ice cream. Very original.

Pricing is very reasonable too during happy hour. No drinks are necessary. Here is menu picture:

The Georgian's Black & White Souffle

Finallyyy.......
I tried The Georgian's Infamous Black & White Souffle......
It is richly sinful =)
Though i thought that the white sauce is not warm enough, the cake is smooth and soothing!
For only $9.00, I got to enjoy the nice Victorian setting of the Georgian and be a princess for a night! The waitress & wait staff is very well-mannered. They took our coats and even lead us the way to the restroom.
It worth a comeback^^

Cafe Pho

Cafe Pho located upstairs at Marion Court (Corner of 3rd Ave and Marion St.)
This place is always packed during lunch hours. We usually pre-order and have it to go. They packed our to go food nicely. The pho soup is separated from the noodles so that it doesnt get soggy by the time we eat it. The prices are also reasonable, ranges from $5.95 to $7.65 and it is an extra $.50 for brown rice.

Spicy Lemongrass Beef with brown rice (it comes with mushrooms and salad on the side)
